Thousands of books, periodicals, national and international journals covering different aspects of academic studies and research material is what you’ll find in the library at Amity University. We also provide online access to some of the most in-demand online databases, including EBSCO, IEEE, and LexisNexis Legal.
The library at Amity University Dubai primarily serves the students, faculty, and staff, fulfilling their academic and research needs. We also extend our services to alumni and special guests of the university, enhancing their ongoing engagement with academic resources. Other visitors are welcome to utilize our on-site facilities for research and educational purposes, typically for a limited period tailored to individual needs.
Our Circulation service operates 24/7 with the aid of RFID technology, facilitated by Self-Check In/Out kiosks located at the library entrance. This system allows for the efficient borrowing of books and other media types, in accordance with our library rules and regulations.
The Amity University Dubai Library houses close to 16,000 books including collections of Accounting, Management, Mass Communication, Technology, Science, Banking, Law, Architecture, Hotel & Tourism, Forensic Science, Philosophy & Psychology, Advertising, E-Commerce, HRM, Marketing, and more. Additionally, we also offer thousands of electronic resources through a variety of databases to support students’ educational needs.
Our library spans accross two floors.The first floor accommodates textbooks and magazines, while the second floor includes a quiet zone that is used as a study space and conference hall. All of our first floor entrances have a secure gated entry system, that helps to control and regulate the access to library material. There is also security and surveillance cameras (CCTV). With a total of 8 iMAC stations and 2 printers for students, faculty and staff to help with completing projects and research.
Students at Amity University Dubai are provided with all the tools needs to support their research papers, projects and course studies. From consultations with professional librarians, course related instructions, workshops and citation management software to journal articles, web-based information access and a vast collection of books, we provide the necessary material.
